Swamp Creatures\Wetlands 06-20-07

This is the second day of our class.  We went to several man made wetlands that were created to prevent silt from the various irrigation companies water return systems from finding its way into the river.

After the tours we stopped at Thousand Springs in the canyon to look at the hatchery and the river.  We then returned to the campus and split into two groups.  I stayed inside and watched two videos about wetlands while the other group went back to the CSI wetland and did some more work there.  I chose to stay inside because it was pretty hot outside and there was no shade.
