| Yesterday, Amy and I worked in the flower beds on the sides of the
house. I had to dig out some dirt and Amy planted her flowers.
I planted the big tree in the North West corner of the property, and
also planted a smaller one to replace one that died. I also
finished the rain gutter drain in the flower bed. Later that day we drove to Oakley to look at rocks. We picked out some really nice ones for the yard. Today, I got up and bought a new saw, and marked out the lines so I could cut the patio. I finished cutting about 3:00 p.m. It sucked. Amy and Megan (Cousin Megan came over to help work) picked rocks out of the flower beds and off the ground, and put the stepping stones back in place where I finished the rain gutter drain. After I finished cutting, I cleaned the patio off and then Matt came over and told me how to get started. Amy and Megan drew lines on the blocks so I could put them in the right place. They marked 120 bocks or so, and still have one pallet of 40 left. I started working on the wall with Matts help before he had to go help dad dump the trailer at the landfill. We got the back section of the wall laid, and I also dug the Western side of the patio where the wall will go. Steve Stokes came over to chat, and then we made dinner and rested. |
