First off, the two pictures of the front of my house were
taken yesterday morning. I forgot I took them. The third to the twelfth pictures show what we did yesterday. You can see the patio cover (still needing to be finished). You can also see the last of the windows we installed yesterday. The remaining pictures show what we did today. Today I went to Franklin and got twelve pieces of mdf to use in the drop ceilings. We started in the back bedroom and dropped the ceiling, it is an oval shape. We installed all the lights and cans in the room as well as sheetrock blocks that were needed. This room took us about 5 hours to finish. We then moved into the bathroom and installed the lights above the bathtub, the vent\light combo and the vanity light box. This room only took about an hour to do. We worked in the utility room and did the same stuff there. Matt had to go to work about this time, and dad got there a while later. While dad nailed the romex down, I put the lights in the hallway and ran the wire to them. Once done with that, we went into the crawl space and installed 5 lights down there. We went into the attic and put in 7 light boxes and wiring. Tomorrow we will finish putting in the actual ceramic light sockets and get them wired in. When we were done, we cleaned up a bit, and then had dad double check today's work. He found that I didn't center a light correctly, so I will fix that tomorrow. |
