Monday 05-16-05

I went to Franklin and bought some oak rosettes for the mirror frame along with some oak coat pegs and some oak filler.  I asked Rod to get me a bid on enough lumber to build a ship about 600 cubits long.  Without a beat he asked if I was going to pay for it, or if he should bill it out to Noah.  LOL!

When I got home, here is what was outside.  This is even worse than it was last week.  There is so much water you simply can't believe it.  I don't know how much it has rained since the weather station at work is not working right.  It claims it is 3,276.7 degrees outside.  If it was that warm, I don't think it would be raining.

I cut the mirror frame down to size and biscuit jointed it and glued it back together.  I was able to save the side piece so I didn't need the oak I bought yesterday.

After that was all glued together I filled the nail holes in the shelve faces and sanded them.  I took them in and put the South bookshelf back together.  I also put the light back up since it fell down today, the track was rolled the opposite way in the package so I had to forcefully bend it back so it would arch the correct way.  If it doesn't stay up this time, some little screws will do they job.

I also moved the shelves down and closer together on the North shelf.  I put up the light on that one and then took pictures.
