Saturday 05-08-05
| Today I awoke to rain, and more rain. Since there was nothing
to do outside, I went upstairs and finished working on my computer.
It is now to the point where I can actually use it. I haven't
activated Windows nor MS Office yet just in case. I lost my
calendar since September, as well as all my favorites. I had no
backup of that.
So, I started cleaning the house and laundry. I also put the final coat of paint on my closet doors in my bedroom and put the door stops on them as well as the door knobs when the paint was dry enough. I hauled the computer desk that was in my bedroom upstairs as well. Now my bedroom is much more empty. I also moved all the house paperwork upstairs as well. I need to get two chairs and I will build a oak table for the little area by the window. Upstairs I put two coats of white paint on the theater door on the game room side and put three coats of red on the inside of the door. I still have some trim to finish in there and paint the sconces black. That will be a project for another day. I also put the door knob back on. In all, I got quite a bit of work done today that I have been putting off for a rather long time. |
