Saturday 5-29-04
| This morning when I woke up, the sky was blue. No
rain. The wind was blowing 500 mph though.
I got out to the house about 8:00 and unloaded the truck. Matt came out and we made a list of stuff we needed (2x6's, 2x10's, 4x4 posts, a rebar, and stair treads. After the shopping trip and returning the extra glue and truss spacers, we got to work. We put the treads on the stairs. They are made from OSB material so we don't have to worry about them getting rained on. After that, we framed in the area above the the stairs in the truss so we had a roof in the room. We then started framing the home theater and game room. We got everything framed as well as the short wall between the stairs and game room. Dan returned the CDX he borrowed. We quit working about 5:45 since it was cold and were tired of the wind. I stayed for a while longer kinda cleaning up stuff, but didn't get much done since I was tried. |
