Today Matt, Dad and I put the sheeting on the West side of the house.  We are using up the 3/4 CDX plywood from the stem walls on this side of the house.

We got the bottom three rows finished and then installed the grill truss the same way we installed the grill on the East side of the house by lifting it by tying it onto the cage on the forklift.

Dad said we almost tipped the forklift over since we had about 8 sheets of plywood on the lift as well, but we couldn't tell since the cage sways so much when your that high anyway...  I guess if it tipped over, we would have been squished like a bug.

We then finished putting on the remaining plywood and cut the angles.  The cat decided to clumb the trusses and join us on the top.  She then realized that claws don't hold a cat very good when your walking down the plywood...  No grip :)  We had to rescue her and put her on the cage.  She then decided to try and climb down the forklift and realized that wasn't going to work either so she came back onto the cage.  She then climbed up the roof again and found a truss to climb down that she could dig her claws into.  Silly cat.

Anyway, we finished about 9:00.  The pictures were taken in the dark, and the camera couldn't focus well, so you will just have to get the idea until I take more pictures tomorrow.

As you can see, we took some artistic merit for the crop dusters and other airplanes that fly low enough to see our happy face on the roof.  On the back, I'll make a bigger one :)
