Monday 4-26-04
| After work I went to Franklin to buy 25 2x6 studs and 6 5'
lamb beams for headers above the kitchen entry area, family room entry area,
hall and my bedroom door. These areas are over a main truss so we
figured we better not use a 2x10. We also doubled them up, so they are
extra strong. Ron and Lee showed up to get paid. Tonight, with Matt and Dad, we finished framing the back bedroom and bathroom. We changed the floor layout of the closet and the bathroom to make the closet larger. We finished framing the kitchen and pantry. We also framed the closets and toilet room for the master bedroom. We still need to frame in around where the bathtub goes, and the door area where the closets meet the bathroom. We quit working at 10:00ish. No pictures, it was to dark when we were done of course. I teach night classes tomorrow (Tuesday) so no update for tomorrow. Wednesday we plan on framing in the front living room wall and fix my bedroom front wall. |
