Today, when I got there at 8:30, Dad was already cleaning
up the lumber laying on the ground. It was also raining. It quit
about an hour later After cleaning stuff up, we laid out the rest of the TGI's. Dad left and I worked on cleaning up all the large rocks and concrete in the foundation. I also put on some pressure treated lumber. I went to the shop at noon to figure out why my cordless circular saw quit working. It is either a broken switch, or the motor is burned up. I tried to bypass the switch, but it still didn't work. I guess I'll see how much a new motor is... Probably as much as a new saw. After lunch I finished putting the rest of the tar on the concrete walls to water proof them and then Matt and Dad showed up at 3:00. We worked on putting the rest of the TGI'ls on. We finished at 8:00. Tomorrow after church I need to build two more load bearing walls in the foundation and finish the pressure treated lumber so we can put the tongue and groove down on Monday. Tuesday I have to teach, and Wednesday I have Parent\Teacher conferences, so we have a ton to do before Tuesday. Oh, as you can see, Alexey is flying her Dora the Explorer kite. |
