Friday 4-9-04
| Today I went to Franklin at 7:00am and they were closed,
not open till 8:00am. Went back to get the truck and went and unloaded
the tools.
A few minutes later, BMC showed up with the correct I-Joists (7:30). We unloaded them and loaded up the wrong ones. Dad and I started putting up the stem walls after drilling the holes. We also oiled the forms with a weed sprayer. We went into town and fixed a window at an apartment, then went to Franklin and bought some more concrete nails and concrete cleates since I need 30 more. When we got back, Dan were there to do his inspection which I scheduled for next Monday... His secretary put it in his schedule on the wrong date. We then started putting up the walls. Matt got there at 3:30ish, and then Ron and his son showed up about 5ish to help. We worked until 9:30 and finished all the perimeter walls (rebar installed and whalers installed, vents installed). Tomorrow we will make the interior forms, finish some rebar work. ****We need a bigger window for the living room, the back bedroom needs to be adjusted to 15 feet wide inside.. |
