Wednesday  4-7-04

I left work at 2:00 so I could get things finished and everything prepared for the concrete.

Dad and Matthew got there about the same time, and John called and said the concrete wouldn't be ready until 5:30 since they were behind schedule.  I also built some forms for some additional supports to make the floor a bit more stiffer.

Tom and another renter showed up to help about the time the concrete showed up.  They had 9 yards on the first truck.  The second truck was driven by John May, one of my old students.  We ended up needing 2 more yards so the first driver came back with the additional concrete.

In all, the job was a lot of work.  We had to wheel barrow quite a bit, and a full wheel barrow weights probably close to 400 pounds.

Mom brought dinner down, and from the pictures you can see that Lexey and Boots (the cat) helped as well.

I got home about 10:15
