This morning I went to Home Depot and spent another
thousand bucks.
I bought all my blinds, 3 more mirrors that are 42x60 (one is Matts), more oak, a piece of crown molding, fire extinguishers, a paint sprayer, tile samples, and other stuff I can't remember. I also went to Grovers to get my dining room lights as they called me as I was in the checkout line at Home Depot. I also got my towel racks and stuff as well. When I got back we unloaded and started doing stuff. In no particular order since I can't remember the order :) Put in the blinds in the Master Bedroom, put the lights in the dining room, painted the shelf supports, caulked the ceiling decoration in the master bedroom and the ceiling decorations in the dining room, put the keystones in in the master bedroom and bathroom. Dad put in the base cove in the back bathroom, put in the motion detector on the patio and put in the plugs in the stair way. Matt got home and we started working on the soffit stuff. We took down the facia on the East side and ran a power lead to the emergency lights and cut the holes for the lights and put everything together. We turned on the emergency lights that are installed and they are pretty bright. After Matt went home to work on his theater room, I put another coat of paint on the base molding for the master bathroom, painted the window openings that needed another coat, and drilled holes for the back splashes for both bathrooms. I screwed them to the wall but need to take them off to silicon under them to make them permanant. |
