I guess you can say that no matter who you buy stuff from, they will screw at least one thing up...

My cabinets came today.  I called grandpa about 11:30 and they were half way done unloading them and he said one was damaged.  It was the bottom corner cabinet on the wall the stove is on.  It is fixable, and in a hidden place, so it really isn't that big of a deal.  A new piece is on the way.

We visited with Grandpa\Grandma and Mike for a while, then started unpacking the upper cabinets.  After a while I found something else out....  They didn't make the upper corner cabinet on the side the stove is on...  So much for getting the kitchen done...  Can't put the upper cabinets in without that one, and really can't put the lower cabinets in either without it.  They also put the wrong (cheap) glides in the drawers instead of the higher quality ones.

We worked until about 11:30pm installing them, and as you can see from the pictures they turned out fairly nice.

We found that the quality isn't quite up to the same standards as Fashion Cabinets.  1)  The backs are 1/8 inch thick with only three pieces of 3/8 particle board to screw them to the wall with.  Matts were full 1/2 inch particle board.  2)  The corners where the counter fastens to the cabinets are cheap thin plastic pieces instead of the solid wood that Matts had.  3)  The insides, while they are real wood laminate, are really thin and not as strong as Matts.  I guess we will see down the road which ones are of the higher quality.
