Wednesday 9-01-04
| Today I left work as soon as the students were dismissed.
I got home, changed, and headed out to the house. I got the laser level out and double checked the forms, and adjusted one part. I then started drilling holes in the concrete in the garage to tie the garage to the driveway. Chad Jones called and said to come get the power screed, so I headed down and got it. I got back and John pulled in and said the truck was on the way so I called Chad and told him. He got there and we started pouring. The handle on the mag float broke, so I ran into Ace and bought a new one. When I got back, well over half the driveway was finished. We finished the pour and cleaned the power screed. Oh, Jeff also helped. Matt textured the East and North side of the driveway and then later on we broomed it. We started in the house by working on the window sills in the master bedroom. We got the two finished, now I just have to stain them and laquer them. |
