Saturday 8-21-04

Friday night:  Yesterday Dad and I cleaned the garage and put the door in between the garage and the house.  We then went to the fair.

Today:  I went to Wilson Bates and bought a new couch, loveseat, end tables, coffee table and two lamps for $1200 +tax.  They are brown suede fabric.  I also went to Home Depot and bought light bulbs and the bears and eagle in the pictures below.  I bought them from a guy who had them in the bed of his truck.  He charged me $110 for all three.

When I got back home, Cori was there so we changed the bulbs in the lights with dimmers with the halogen ones I bought.  We then went to lunch.

I had to miss part of lunch because Sears delivered my appliances.  After that, Matt and I worked on the soffit\facia in the front some more.  I cut a notch in the brick for the facia to cover the flashing.  I then put the lights in the kitchen above the island and then went over to John K's house and looked at his wiring job and came home.
