Yesterday Matt and I went to Boise and installed the floor
in Cori's family room. It took us about 4 hours to put it down. Today, I arrived at the house at 8:30 and started work in the living room. I had to run to Ace to get some springs to finish putting in the eye ball lights. I also installed the smoke detector and replaced the floor lights with spot lights in the spotlight lights. Dad worked on putting outlets and light switches in the closet under the stairs, the kitchen, the dining room, utility room, bathroom and bedroom. I put the light in the pantry and nearly blew myself up in the process. I was standing on the ladder and grabbed the wire cutters and snipped the wires to trim them up in the box and BOOM! A shower of sparks. I forgot that I jumpered the wires into a live circuit... Oooopppssss.. Now my nice new wire cutters have a nice hole in them where they got welded with 110 volts. I trimmed the hallway, bathroom and bedroom and got the bedroom and bathroom painted once. Matt got off work and we took out the soffit on the garage and replaced it so it looked a bit better at the very point. We then put the facia on it. |
