Monday 8-09-04

About 1:00 we started working on putting the tile down in the utility room.  From start to finish it took a little over an hour.

I put in three of the eye ball lights in the living room.  I will have to buy some springs to hold them in better tomorrow.

The bulbs we ordered were the wrong ones, we needed long neck bulbs after all.  Matt called them and got an RMA# and then called Columbia Electric.  They can get the right bulbs for $4.50 each, and I need 135 of them.  They should be here next week.

Dad showed up and started putting in more outlets and the light switches in the master bedroom along with the heater and thermostat.

Matt started trimming out the family room\dining\kitchen and I got it painted with its second coat.

I also hung the sconces on the entertainment center.

I then spent half an hour sucking up flies with the vacuum.  I hate flies.  There were well over 50 of them in the master bathroom alone.  I went to Walmart and got some fly spray and sprayed the house.  We will see how many are dead tomorrow :)

Oh, Kelly Anderson came over with a friend and I put her to work sweeping and cleaning up.   Larry Yarborough also brought over some people who hired him to work on their house.  I know them as I taught their twin daughters the first year I was teaching.
