Friday 8-06-04
| This morning I went to Franklin with Lex and bought a whole
bunch of shims. We had candy on the way. I also stopped at Matts
shop and picked up the nails for the finish nail gun. I cleaned up the house and then Grandpa showed up. We looked at the house, then started hanging doors. We started in the master bedroom and got the two closets and the bathroom done, then started on the main door. We took a lunch break then started on the back end of the house. We then got to the pantry door and it the opening was screwed up. It took a while, but we have it fixed so that it is at least workable if you don't look at it very close. I also painted the heater cover for the home theater black. The black plugs and covers arrived today and I picked those up after lunch along with the covers for outside outlets. We then went upstairs and got those two doors finished. We finished about 5:30. |
