This morning I got out to the house about 8:00 to check on
the sheet rockers, then headed to Twin Falls. I went to Target to look
at ceiling fans, but they only had one that was nice. I then went to
Home Depot and bought some lights for the pillars, along with a whole ton of
other junk. I then went back to Target to get the ceiling fan, and told them I needed more. They found 5 more in the back, so I am only short one now. Then I went to Grovers and bought my lights for the halls and closets along with digital programmable thermostats. When I was done, my car was so stuffed with things that I couldn't see out the back window or the passenger mirror. Good thing I didn't buy anything else. When I got to the house about 1:00, I unloaded the car and started work. I hung the ceiling fans in the computer room and then put in the dimmers for the spotlights, ceiling fan lights and the special dimmers for the fans. Matt showed up and hung the fan in the game room, then fiddled with the home theater room door. I painted the home theater walls again (not the back wall, not enough paint left) then let it dry for a while. I then hung the sconces, along with the remaining spotlights. Things look really nice so far. The sheet rockers textured the kitchen walls and ceiling, the dining room walls and ceiling, the family room walls, the living room walls and ceiling, the master bedroom walls and master bathroom walls. Tomorrow they will texture the remaining ceilings and then clean up. Depending on how things work out with Cori's house, we may not prime and paint the main floor until Monday. Tomorrow my inside\outside corner trim and rosettes should be here. |
