Lets see, today I slept in a bit, then loaded up the truck
with some of my light trims and headed to the house. When I got there,
I started painting the home theater. I put two coats of paint on the
walls, then a third coat on the back wall and came to the conclusion that
the Ripe Currant paint sucks as it was too translucent and didn't cover
worth crap.
I went to town and ordered black electrical outlets\switches\covers from Columbia and then went to Franklin and picked up some different paint which Matt used in his theater. $27 a gallon. When I got back, I painted the walls with one coat and it looks a ton better. Dad bought some longer machine screws and finished hanging the spotlights in the computer room then hung three in the theater before he had to go. I went home shortly thereafter. I also got the bill for the sheetrock and they said they should be done tomorrow. Today they textured the back end of the house. When I got home, the truck was leaking fluid. I called dad and told him, then he came over a couple hours later when it cooled down. The trans is empty and won't move. It looks like a seal\gasket is shot. Wonderfull.... Something else that is busted. Later I went to the house and took pictures. Grandpa, you can see what happens when a saw falls 25 feet off a forklift and lands upside down. Your new one is on the forklift under the tarp. It is heavy as hell, as well, and is tied on. |
