Tuesday 7-20-04

The bricklayers finished the West side of the house.  They also removed the scaffolding on the front and acid washed it as well.

The sheet rockers put more mud on the wall and put more bull nose on corners.

I built up the gable on the front of the garage so I can put the J-Channel on.  I also worked on putting the soffit lights in the front of the house.  I spent most of the day on this task alone.  I also put the motion detector on the East wall of the garage.

The insulation guys arrived about 10:00am and finished about 12:30.  They did a good job and since they had to work in the attic where it was super hot, I gave the two of them $20 each in a tip.

Grandpa called about my cabinets.  $8100 for the whole package.  Quit a bit over budget....

Jeff came and dropped the pump down the well as well.

I quit about 5:30 and went home since my feet hurt from being on a ladder all day, as well as the fact it looked like another rain storm was on the way...  Oh, last night it rained like a, well, it rained a lot.  The whole property was a mud mess till things dried out a bit.

I went to moms to fix her computer and then went out and took some more pictures of the house with the lights on in the front.
