This morning I went to Ace Hardware to get another
electrical box for the stove then headed to the house. Matt got there
and we got a list of stuff to get so I ran into Franklin and got some more
studs, 10 sheets of 7/16 osb and some masonite. I then went to
Columbia Electric and got three more cans and then Pacific Recycling and got
two more angle irons. When I got to the house Matt was working on the arch cieling. We found that one arch was off a bit so we fixed that by adding another piece of mdf to it. I hung the remaining can and ran the wiring to it. I relocated the smoke detector and put in the light in the hall. While I was doing this, Matt put the steel in upstairs. We then cleaned the house in wait of the sheetrock which didn't show up until close to 5:30ish. It took them nearly two hours to unload and I gave the two guys a $20 tip each for the hard work. Dad and I then put in some boards in the attic for a walkway so I can get around up there without tromping through insulation. Oh, my front door came today as well. Pictures are below. |
