This morning before I headed out, Delno Koch called about
my brick. He said it would be in the first of next week. He
asked about the keystones, and I told him to get whatever he thinks would
look best. He also said he would do a chocolate colored mortar and
rake it as well. I got out to the house about 8:30, unlocked the house and went to Ramseys for more duct work stuff. After that I went to Barger Flooring to see what sizes of tile he had. I will go back on Tuesday with Matt to pick out the tile. When I got to the house I worked on the ductwork in the master bathroom. I then worked on the duct work in the kitchen. About this time the insulation guys showed up. They got to work pretty quickly. I kinda piddled around for a while, then they said they needed me to build a sorta wall thing in the master bedroom. Then I went to lunch. After lunch I worked on the vent in the garage, then noticed that they needed to fix some mesh work behind the stairs. I showed them and they fixed it. I sat down for about an hour since I was tired from the previous several days work and took a nap for about half an hour. Matt showed up from work and we went shopping. I bought some insulation for some of the interior walls along with some lumber. Matt bought a pallet of ready-mix and we had about 4000 lbs of concrete in the bed of the truck. Matt worked on his pillar while I found another thing for the insulators to fix. I had them insulate a section that would be really hard to deal with if the walls were up later. They then insulated the garage and part of the crawl space. They finished somewhere around 7ish. I kept working on my interior walls and came home at about 9ish. |
